WATER RESCUE TEAM ASSIST TO KUHL HOSE

Dec 1- LCFC was dispatched to assist on a rescue of three hunters in the 10200 block of Perry Highway with the Water Rescue team and Mule. Water Rescue 579, Rescue Boat 578, Utility 566 with the mule and Squad 577 responded. Dispatch advised hunters were surrounded by water and unable to make their way back out of  the woods requiring assistance. Crews arrived on scene and unloaded the mule. The Rapid Deployment Craft was inflated and both units responded towards the incident scene. Crews found a wetland area between them and the hunters. A rope was secured across the wetland and the RDC pulled to the location of the hunters. Once on scene the hunters were placed in Personal Flotation Devices and assisted on the RDC. The RDC was pulled back to the dry land. Once crew and hunters were back on the dry land the mule transported them to an awaiting squad for evaluation. All 3 hunters refused treatment. Crews cleaned up their gear and returned.
